SP / Submersible well-water range

SP Stainless Steel Borehole Pump

SP is the stainless steel borehole family, with curves and performance tables across several listed well-pump sizes. Stainless steel impellers distinguish it from SA's plastic-impeller construction. The catalogue gives the data needed to match water supply duty to well size, stage count and motor arrangement.

Range technical data

Minimum well classes
4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 in
Maximum liquid temperature
4SP and 5SP: 35 °C; 6SP, 8SP and 10SP: 50 °C
Power supply
4SP: 1~ 220–240 V or 3~ 380–415 V; 5SP–10SP tables: 3~ 380–415 V; 50 Hz
Maximum sand content
0.25% in the 4SP, 6SP, 8SP and 10SP overviews; confirm the selected subrange

Use the individual SP model table and curve for flow, head and motor power. The brochure does not present a single shared performance envelope for every well class.

Series overview

Overview

The SP catalogue presents multistage submersible pumps for water supply from wells and reservoirs, domestic and civil systems, industrial uses and irrigation. Its material tables identify stainless steel impellers and diffusers in the listed constructions, while specific components and sizes vary across the family. The tables show model-by-model flow and head rather than one duty point for the whole series.

For a sandy well, compare the stated water condition and pump construction with the actual water quality before selection. Confirm well diameter, available electrical supply and motor control as part of the system design. SP remains distinct from the SA range because the impeller material and performance families differ.

Materials

Stainless steel hydraulic construction. The material tables specify AISI 304 impellers and diffusers for the listed 6SP construction, with AISI 304/AISI 316 options in listed larger constructions; confirm the exact material schedule for the selected range.

Operating conditions

Liquid-temperature limits vary by subrange: 4SP and 5SP specify a maximum of 35 °C; 6SP, 8SP and 10SP specify 50 °C. Maximum sand content is 0.25% where stated in the applicable overview. Confirm the exact subrange, model and electrical arrangement.

Before selecting

  • Confirm well opening, dynamic water level and installation duty before selecting the SP size.
  • Match the required flow and total head to the individual model and stage count on its hydraulic curve.
  • Confirm the selected range’s temperature limit, sand limit, stainless steel grade, electrical supply and control arrangement.

Series questions

Is one temperature limit valid for every SP pump?

No. The 4SP overview states 35 °C; the 6SP, 8SP and 10SP overviews state 50 °C. Check the page for the selected range.

Are all SP material schedules identical?

No. Stainless steel grades and listed components depend on the range. Use the material table for the selected configuration, especially where AISI 304/AISI 316 options are shown.
