Choose the exact blower, speed and pressure/vacuum configuration. Catalogue air-volume tables refer to intake air at standard conditions: 20 °C, absolute pressure 1 atm and 65% relative humidity; this is a flow-reference condition, not a gas-temperature operating limit.
Series catalogue ↗Series overview
Overview
The RL catalogue describes three-lobe rotors in a cast-iron casing, with oil-lubricated bearings and timing gears outside the compression chamber. It lists blower-only units as well as complete pressure and vacuum sets, with accessories such as silencers, valves and gauges on the applicable sets. Applications include wastewater aeration, aquaculture, liquid agitation, filter backwash, pneumatic conveying and drying.
Performance tables give airflow, pressure, speed and required power across the range. Choose the exact configuration for the intended pressure or vacuum duty, then include pipework losses in system sizing. The compression chamber delivers oil-free air.

Features
- Three-lobe Roots rotor arrangement
- Pressure and vacuum set configurations
- No lubricant in the compression chamber
- Oil-lubricated bearings and timing gears
Applications
- Wastewater aeration
- Filter backwash
- Pneumatic conveying
Materials
FC25 cast-iron casing, rotors with SCM440 shafts and SNCM220 timing gears. The compression chamber contains no lubricant; bearings and timing gears are oil-lubricated.
Operating conditions
Choose pressure or vacuum operation according to configuration: RL is the blower body, RLC a pressure complete set and RLV a vacuum complete set. Check the series catalogue for the selected configuration.
Before selecting
- Specify the required airflow and pressure or vacuum for the actual aeration or industrial process.
- Select the model, operating speed and drive from the corresponding performance table.
- Confirm whether the scope is a blower body, pressure set or vacuum set, including the required accessories.
Series questions
Does oil-free air mean there is no oil in the whole blower?
No. The catalogue states that no lubricant is present in the compression chamber, while the bearings and timing gears are oil-lubricated.
How do RL, RLC and RLV differ?
RL identifies the blower body only. RLC is a complete set for pressure operation, and RLV is a complete set for vacuum operation.
