Series overview

Overview

SF is a high-head submersible pump for water supply from wells and reservoirs, domestic and civil systems, industrial water duties and irrigation. A cast-aluminium impeller works with an AISI 304 stainless steel strainer and external motor casing. The rewindable motor is offered in single-phase and three-phase versions, with float-switch options on applicable single-phase models.

Select the model from its flow and head curve, taking account of the total head required by the installation. Confirm the water condition against the maximum fluid temperature of 40 °C and maximum sand content of 0.1%, then check the power supply and control arrangement for the selected version.

  • AISI 304 stainless steel external casing and strainer
  • Cast-aluminium impeller
  • Float-switch option on applicable single-phase versions

Applications

  • Reservoir water transfer
  • Civil water supply
  • Garden irrigation

Materials

Cast-aluminium impeller; AISI 304 stainless steel strainer, external motor casing and top cover; graphite/ceramic mechanical seal.

Operating conditions

Maximum fluid temperature 40 °C and maximum sand content 0.1%. Single-phase and three-phase supplies are listed; a float switch is available on applicable single-phase models with the F suffix.

Before selecting

  • Choose the required flow and total head from the SF performance curve for the well, reservoir or irrigation system.
  • Check liquid temperature and sand content against the operating limits.
  • Confirm the electrical version and whether the selected single-phase model includes the F float-switch option.

Series questions

Where is SF intended to be used?

Its listed duties are water supply from wells or reservoirs, domestic and civil systems, industrial applications and garden irrigation.

Does every SF version include a float switch?

No. The catalogue identifies a float-switch option for single-phase models with the F suffix. Confirm the exact version before ordering.
