WC / Submersible wastewater pump with cutter

WC Cutter Sewage Pump

WC combines a submersible sewage pump with a cutter impeller and ring. The cutting assembly reduces fibrous material before it enters the discharge path. The catalogue covers two-pole and four-pole constructions for wastewater and sewage duties where a standard drainage impeller may be more prone to obstruction.

Range technical data

Motor power range
1.5–110 kW
Maximum flow
Up to 2600 m³/h
Maximum head
Up to 65 m
Discharge range
DN50–DN300
Power supply
1~ 220–240 V or 3~ 380–415 V, 50 Hz; availability depends on model

Range bounds are a catalogue overview. Check flow and head together on the selected model curve; maximum values are not a guaranteed combined duty point.

Series overview

Overview

The WC series uses a semi-open vortex impeller with a cutter ring at the intake. Both cutting components are specified in high-chromium stainless steel, while tandem mechanical seals and an epoxy-sealed cable entry protect the motor assembly. The catalogue distinguishes two-pole and four-pole versions and gives separate performance curves and construction information.

WC is intended for submerged operation in wastewater and sewage containing material that the cutter can break down. Selection should follow the required duty point and the actual nature of the solids. Cutter construction does not replace checking that the liquid and installation conditions fall within the catalogue limits.

Features

  • Cutter impeller and ring ahead of the discharge path
  • Semi-open vortex hydraulic design
  • Tandem mechanical seals with silicon-carbide faces
  • Epoxy-sealed cable entry

Applications

  • Wastewater transfer
  • Sewage pumping with fibrous material
  • Drainage where cutting action is required

Materials

High-chromium stainless steel 420 cutter impeller and cutter ring; double mechanical seals with silicon-carbide faces.

Operating conditions

Wastewater and sewage at 0–40 °C. The IP68 motor is intended for continuous submerged operation. Built-in auto-cut thermal protection is specified for single-phase models.

Before selecting

  • Identify the wastewater, fibrous material and cutting duty before choosing the pump.
  • Match the required flow and total discharge head to the curve for the selected two-pole or four-pole model.
  • Confirm power supply, motor protection and submerged operating conditions for the installation.

Series questions

What does the WC cutting assembly do?

The vortex semi-open impeller and cutter ring cut material in the wastewater before discharge. Check the actual waste stream when specifying the pump.

Is motor thermal protection included?

The catalogue specifies a built-in auto-cut thermal protector on single-phase models. Confirm the protection arrangement for the selected electrical version.

KTZ-LH Drainage Pump

The KTZ-LH catalogue combines two submersible drainage ranges with cast-iron construction and high-chrome-alloy impellers. KTZ has a semi-open impeller and ductile-iron wear plate; LH has a separately specified construction for deep-well pre-dewatering and high-head drainage. Both ranges list civil engineering, mining and treatment-plant applications.
